The Entrepreneurs Bean Counter is a company dedicated to helping businesses succeed. Our services allow entrepreneurs to focus on growing their business, doing the elements they love, while we ensure that the financial side of the business is looked after and the financial information required for key decision making is clear and presentable.
We recognise that having access to legal, financial and accounting information is key to running a business, but the time it takes to seek out the correct answers isn't always available when you need it. This is why in addition to our business knowledge, we have formed partnerships with accounting and law firms, to ensure that the answers are available when you need them.
About the owner - Meagan McKeage, B.Mgmt
I started this company because I love business and numbers and enjoy working with passionate entrepreneurs. I went into business as I thought it would help me to one day start a company that coincided with some of my life passions, what I didn't realise is that business itself would end up being one of those passions. I started my career off in private equity, at Simmons Financial Holdings, my role was to participate in the due diligence process, qualifying companies for investment potential. During this time, I also sat on a few boards as corporate secretary including a publicly traded oil and gas trust, Deepwell Energy Services. From there I partnered with a couple of others to start an Automotive Design firm called Motive Industries Inc. I took on an active management role within Motive for 4 years to help bring it to the thriving, successful company that it is today. I believe my strength is in understanding what it truly means to operate your own business, understanding that businesses are dynamic and decisions aren't always black and white.
